If you're on Verizon and you've wanted an iPhone, your wait will soon be over. I'm pretty confident that AT&T's latest fiasco will cause Apple to seek additional carriers when that exclusive contract is up next year.
If they're within 30 days of purchasing it, they can take it back to Apple, pay the restocking fee, and then get the 3GS at the subsidized pricing I believe.
I'd guess that it's coming at some point this year, along with the Slim PS3 model, after the current PS3 inventory is exhausted. Most of the other recent rumors regarding Sony were true, so there's no reason to believe the Slim announcement wasn't held off like a few sites stated. They've got to slow/halt the production of the current models and get them sold before putting a cheaper model on shelves.
Why don't they just release it this year and then offer the additional content as DLC whenever it's ready? I'm not so sure that folks will care about WKC in 2010 when FF13 and 14 will be on the horizon.
I definitely agree, but that's true only because Apple has a bias against real buttons. If they ever decide to add a control pad, they could become a serious handheld competitor. Need for Speed Undercover on iPhone easily matches many of the PSP's driving games graphically and has quite a bit of depth as well.
If that's the case, then Natal and Sony's magic wand should be quite successful. Nintendo also rejected Playstation and Compact Discs.
I wonder if the Wallstreet Journal can tell me why I keep getting wet every time I step outside in the rain.
Edit: Oh my goodness, you truly are a genius Perkel lol. Wonder why I couldn't figure that out.
A winner is you OgTheClever! Give me a sec to send you the code.
I have an extra code. I'll PM it to the first person who can tell me what my brother's name is.
Yes it does. It looks much better in real life pics than in the official press shots.
I was at work when I saw the announcement on Twitter and I had to try my hardest not to start shouting and fist pumping like a maniac. This is THE announcement I had hoped for, but i figured Nintendo/Camelot had given up on the series for some reason.
OMG, this the best E3 announcement so far for me. I've been hoping for this for years.
Hmm, you don't see the irony in all that stuff you just typed?
Yeah I forgot about L4D2. It's just so odd for Valve to release a sequel so soon, but hopefully it has more than 4 campaigns like you stated earlier. I guess "surprise" was the wrong word for me to use. What I mean is none of the things really got me excited outside of MGS. Crackdown 2 and Forza were expected, Milo was nice but I have no faith in Molyneux anymore, I've never been interested in Alan Wake, and I'm not a fan of motion controls. Although, I do believe Natal will be nice...
Not meaning to be a party pooper, but I honestly don't think much of the show was a surprise. The only things that were unexpected was Kojima and the fact that their motion control scheme uses cameras rather than a controller like most expected. The only 360 games I can see myself picking up throughout the rest of the year are Halo: ODST and possibly Forza.
Nah it's not a PS3 vs. 360 thing, because I own both. I think it has more to do with me being a nerd than anything lol. I just have a problem with companies like Dish Network and now MS claiming they're pushing real 1080p content to your home, when it's really a deception. It's just not physically possible unless they have a connection like your 60+mbps. Though I'm sure most people won't know the difference. And I swear your avatar looks more like Michael Evans than Tito lol.
If it's as functional as the video seems, then it could be great in the hands of good developers. Although now instead of Wiimotes going through the TV screen, you'll have people flinging their whole body through lol.
GOW3 never had a release date to slip from, but has been rumored to be a March 2010 release since it was first shown. As a 360 owner, the only games shown today that interest me are MGS and Left 4 Dead 2 which I'm getting on PC. From what my friend has told me about the Halo novels, Halo: Reach should be nice as well. When did Valve start releasing sequels so soon? It usually takes them 11 years to make one game.
I'm in the same boat. I refuse to get ripped off so badly, buying what's basically a normal laptop hard drive. I can only install one 360 game at a time with my paltry 8GB of free space lol.
Yep, that's what happened. If Apple and Verizon hadn't reached a deal before yesterday though, they're certainly in negotiations now. Apple is still not going to let them brand the iPhone in any kind of way, but after seeing how successful the phone is, I don't think Verizon will care.
